I dont know who gave this advert the go ahead but they should be found, fired and shot. This advert is first off inherently racist... I'm offended. They should have gone the whole hog and brought out the black out and red lipstick or just got a couple puppet gollywogs, wtf were you thinking.

SAVE THE CUT
Posted by: noreply@blogger.com (ItsTheLeak)

We're all about the young'uns at Rubypseudo, so naturally we were less than pleased to hear that youth run magazine The Cut risks being being cut due to lack of government funding. Though all is not lost, you can save The Cut by completing a few mini tasks on www.TheStake.co.uk , a Barclays run initiative aiming to get young people thinking of entrepreneurial ideas, many have supported this cause and we're about the spreading the word, so help keep The Cut going log on to The Stake. -

SBTV does the Muscat Youth Summit
Posted by: noreply@blogger.com (ItsTheLeak)
The Muscat Youth Summit is an annual initiative organized by the Brand Oman Management Unit (BOMU) supported by UNESCO, the Sultanate’s Ministry of Education and the Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
The purpose of the Muscat Youth Summit is to give youth a voice in the planning of activities and programs for their communities and to provide information to adults making decisions that affect their lives. The Summit is a free-of-charge, three-day residential program aimed at 15–24 year-olds drawn from the Middle East, Asia, Europe and North America.
Britains own largest youth broadcaster SBTV was on and to capture the on goings at this summit where the focus is on Social Entrepreneurship, Urban Arts and Digital Participation.
The young people are encouraged via workshops to explore social entrepreneurship and the power it gives youth over the way things are produced, services delivered and decisions made. Above all, it will encourage youth to take shared responsibility for their lives and communities and challenge rigid ideas about the balance of power between 'producer' and 'consumer'.
Whilst also allowing the young people to experience a diverse range of arts and cultural activities to enhance their aspirations, achievements, skills, engagement with and contribution to their respective communities. It also introduces Summit participants to a new area of future employment.
